Nerdrage94
I have recently decided to give Oblivion another shot, so i dug up my CD, installed Oblivion, Shivering isles and the shivering isles patch (in that order). I then install OOO and the Unofficial oblivion patch, the whole thing works OK, i get good frame-rates ect. so i have a look at a few mods , and i come across two that struck my fancy: MMM and Unique landscapes. So i install all the DLC's and Knights of the nine, as well as MMM (following the instructions to make it compatible with OOO) and all the UL mods. i try to launch the game, it crashes before the bethesda screen, so i disable everything to do with the DLC's, and it works. except when i am playing, it seems that every container (barrels, lecterns, chests of drawers) have all been replaced with the "WTF i am missing a mesh?" marker. my best guess is that OOO's altered item loot lists have conflicted with another mod (most likely MMM, as this happens in areas that UL does not touch) but apart from that (and the DLC crashes) MMM and OOO seem to work well. Has anyone else had this problem? is there a stupidly obvious solution i am missing?
Megatarius
First off all, if it crashes before the Bethesda screen, it is not finding a necessary .esm file. Missing meshes are just that. Missing meshes. You didn't install necessary files. Finally, OOO and MMM are not compatible with each other. I recommend FCOM, which not only makes them compatible, but also blends in two other good mods that also aren't normally compatible. The instructions:http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html It's a tough one to install, but it's worth the anguish.

Tomlong54210
OOO includes Harvest Containers, so all or nearly all containers are replaced. Did you use the EXE to install OOO? What operating system are you running? If you are using Vista or Win7 that is likely the problem. Reinstall the game outside of the default folder, to a custom folder (i.e., C:\Games) and, even if you have already reinstalled, grab the complete archive, which is OMOD-Ready. Install it with OBMM. Use theNiceOne's OMOD Installer, and make sure you install MMM after OOO - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24646 MMMforOOO Installation Guide - http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=guides_mod_installation&subpage=mmmforooo_installation_guide <-- This covers the installation of MMMforOOO and the UOP. If you don't need the install guide for MMMforOOO, you can at least check out the install order in the last step. That should reduce some of your missing resources problems.
