shirdes
I downloaded the newest version from the start, with the authors notes stating they fixed the replication of the armor at every game load; I am still experiencing this bug. Armor looks great, but I may have to remove the mod if I cant get this resolved :(. File: green_banditv1
theskymoves
It looks like the last update to that mod was almost five years ago... it's unlikely that any bugs will be addressed by the modder at this point. IMO, your best option is to edit the .cif (the probable culprit for the spawnage) as per this thread. Note that you don't actually need the toolset; .cif files can be edited with pyGFF. shirdes
So I downloaded the GFF V4.0 editor like was mentioned and opened the green bandit armor and found the cf (AddIns - green bandit armor - module - 'grn_bndt_arm.cif' file.) Using the GFF program, I open this file up and found the CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_SCRIPT. I can't do anything with this though as suggested in thread, such as deleting it. What am I missing here. ****UPDATE**** I tried just deleting the enture cif file under module and that stopped the respawn AND I still have the gear on the character. Didnt need the GFF program at all :) Thanks for the help!! Edited October 27, 2014 by shirdes
theskymoves
Open the .cif in the GFF editor, and highlight the field to be edited. Then go to the "Edit" box at lower left, and make the desired change. (I'm just going to delete the info here.)http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff482/theskymoves/misc/Untitled-2_zps231cf0fb.jpg When the edit is complete, first hit the 'Save' button just below the 'Edit' box. Then go to 'File', and 'Save As'... and save again, using the same file name. http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff482/theskymoves/misc/Untitled-1_zps486311e6.jpg If you were making more than one edit to the file, you'd need to save each edit with the bottom-most button before moving on to the next edit. shirdes
Thanks for this. When I first tried, it would not allow me to edit the bottom as you mentioned..this is what I thought I needed to do. When I retried just now, it allowed me to edit that section. Lets hope it has same effect in game. Thanks for the visual posts..it helps  ***update*** So far so good. So it seems that altering the cif file in GFF or just deleting it entirely from AddIns have the same effect, at least so far. Thanks again.
