Necrolok
I'm having trouble with the downloaded armour, weapons and Jessi. The armour and weapons are glowing white.Jessi's backpack and weapon keep changing colour at different angles and such.I don't know if this is already in the forums so I'm sorry if it already is.But can someone please help me fix up these problems? I use Windows 7 and I copied the whole 'Data' file into my Fallout 3 'Data' folder. So they are essentially 'raw'.
neomonkeus
Have you enabled archiveinvalidation as that helps with incompatibilities with new textures, other than that I would read the help me that should be included with the the download or contact the author. neomonkeus
The archive invalidation should pop up a java applet, which in turns adds a .bsa to your data folder.
FOXBlackOps
I think abominalmonkey is refering to the archivevalidation invalidated program which will change your .ini for you which is better than chaning it yourself if you are unsure what your doing. I would recommend getting fallout mod manager as this has an archive invalidation toggle switch built in, it also helps prevent load order issues and the like. Where have you installed Fallout 3? With Windows seven or vista it should NOT be installed to program files as this causes problems with windows' user account control, I suggest re-installing to somewhere like C:/Games and then copying your current data file over the installed one (Make backups before attempting this, also try the archive invalidation first.
