roninmedia
Updated Oblivion LauncherThe updated launcher now includes options for changing your auto detect settings for Video Quality. The presents are Ultra Low Quality, Very Low, Low, Medium, High and Ultra High. If you select Reset to Defaults, it will restart the auto detect and offer the best settings for your system.http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_patchnotes5.htm I know where people talk of playing Oblivion in "Ultra High" settings. Until now, I didn't really bother to thing about it since I just set the options in the menu by adjusting the sliders. But is there some way I'm missing to adjust the presets? http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/3204/settingsmm.jpg

huxleykrcc
You can edit the settings yourself in options, and further in the .ini file, can you not? Just check out some stickies in these forums and/or google "oblivion tweaking." Doing it yourself gives you more control, anyway.

OP, you can re-create most of the Ultra High settings via the in-game video settings menu. Some parameters, however, can only be tweaked by actually editing the Oblivion.ini. Not all tweak guides are equal, but the Oblivion Tweak Guide has a very nice layout and good information.
