Salamander8
Hi folks, I have recently had to uninstall my original OS hard drive as it was failing and re-installed XP on my new C-partition but while Oblivion is still on the G-partition and I can start it from my OBSE file, it is not working properly and the Oblivion DVD does not acknowledge the install (due to no registry entry from the fresh OS install). Is there a quick way to reactivate my maxxed-out mods that I installed over the years? Or will I have to methodically reactivate and re-date (as needed) them manually? Thank you for any help you can provide.

If you use OBMM, export your active OMOD list. After reinstalling OBMM, copy your OMODs over to the new Oblivion\obmm\mods folder (or point the OMODs folder to the old one via settings) and import your active OMOD list. I will do this when I can. I am not quite sure what you mean by regenerating the ini file however. I was using some tools (wryebash and I believe gecko) to help manage my mods in addition to OBMM before the hard drive died. I have backups stored of everything (barring my registry o_O ), so one way or another I should be able to fix it. Thanks again.
