mod dont work

when i load the DAA and the DAO file in the dragon age origins content updater it installs then i start the game but it dosent work

it worked with my other save but i erased it and only this one is left

pretty common issue. the scripts show that the gear has already been given, and thus dont repeat the process of giving them. happens all the time on new characters. Try deactivating the mod, force load your savegame, and then create a new, clean save that doesnt have the mod running.

Go back and reactivate the mod, then load the clean save again. See if that cures it up.

 

Also, to prevent this from happening on new characters, deactivate ALL your gear mods BEFORE starting up the new character. Play it til you can get to a save point, save, then go back and reactivate the mods.

 

Also, patch 1.04 has caused some serious scripting issues, are you patched to 1.02, 1.03 or 1.04?

nope, you just deactivate the mod. Start up the game as you usually would. But because that mod isnt active anymore, the game is going to tell you that playing it can cause corrupted files, blah blah, do you want to go ahead and run it? Tell it yes. Twice.

Then once you have gotten into the game, click the icon that loads up the save menu. Click on new save, create the new save and name it something different, like "clean save1" or w/e and then exit the game.

shut the game down, go in and reactivate the mod, then restart your clean save.

That should hopefully work :)
