mustangrande
Hi,I recently reinstalled Oblivion and OBMM. While installing the OMOD version of QTP3, OBMM crashed. Since that point, the program wont open. Clicking the shortcut will result in the process running in the task manager, but the program doesn't appear on the screen. A google search on the issue yielded no answers. If anyone knows how to fix this, please, let me know. I am using Win XP.
yeldarb
Remove the OMODs that did work from Oblivion\obmm\mods and put them into a folder in Documents and reinstall OBMM.Make sure OBMM is working in Safe mode in settings. Reinstall the working OMODs, and reactivate them in the proper order. when you can play your saved games then try installing the QTP OMOD, but I would see if anyone has had problems with the OMOD version by reading the comments before I tried to reinstall it. You might check for (and remove) temporary files that might have been left behind when OBMM crashed the last time. There might be an obmm directory under user\AppData\temp (win7) or its equivalent on other windows ...

When you install the QTP3 OMOD (and I hope you mean QTP3R) that should probably be the only mod you install during that session; otherwise, you risk losing a lot of progress when OBMM has its memory crash. All you have to do is make sure that that is the first mod you install when you launch it, and then close OBMM afterward. Relaunch it if you want to continue installing other OMODs. Your temporary folder may have filled up as well, so it might be simplest to restart your computer and have the folder flushed out before trying to install QTP3 again.
