pocketlint60
When I change bInvalidateOlderFiles to 1, my game crashes on start-up.I have heard that others have had this problem and that there is no way to fix it, but if anyone has done anything that worked, or has another way to do it, than please leave a reply. Also, when I try to use ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated, it can't find Fallout.ini even when I put it in the same folder and tried changing the name around. I am running GOTY, version 1.7, on steam. P.S. attached is my ArchiveInvalidation.txt
SiloZen
This has happened to me too, it says in the Readme file that they have no idea why it does it.
FOXBlackOps
Are you running Vista/Windows 7? If so Steam should NOT be installed under Program files as the User account controls for windows constrict/stop mods from working.Re-install it somewhere like C:/Games (Make sure you make a back up before you do this incase you go wrong somewhere)
