guybnch
Hey everyone.I hope this is the right forum to post. I am having some issues with blender, i cant import Gamebryo/NetImmerse. It says "python script error: Check console" and in the console "Import error: No module named logging"I tried to reinstall everything ( Python script, blender, PyFFi and Blender Nif scripts ) but didn't worked. Can someone help me please?
Quetzlsacatanango
Are you running 64bit blender possibly? It doesn't work with current nifscripts.
guybnch
Nope.Blender for Windows 34 BitsI'm using windows vista, so its 82 or 84 bits, forgot. Wel one of those.
neomonkeus
x86 is the convention for 32bit operating system on windows. It is most likely that you are running a 2.5 version, the scripts aren't supported yet due the python api being currently rewritten.Try downloading the 2.49 beta /most versions of the 2.49x stream. On some occasions when installing 2.49, the generic scripts don't appear in which case you should do a re-install, but even if the generics don't appear you should be able to install the nifscripts separately and they should still appear, but in this case you would be lacking alot of functionality
guybnch
Okay, hold on...It can't detect PyFFi instalation. It keeps popping up a mensage that I need to ''download python 2.5 and PyFFi in order to run blender NIF scripts'' ( PyFFi and python 2.7 are installed. ) It seems that only Blender NIF scripts 2.5.5 can detect PyFFI and Python installation...I will try to install python 2.5Didn't worked. Don't know what to do now...
neomonkeus
Try this link for Pyffi The version of python that come packaged with blender should be high enough to run the script with need to use an external install of python, though I think I run a newer version myself. I think 2.6.1.
guybnch
Hold on...Well it kinda worked, but when i tried to import, it said PyFFi wasn't detected. Then i uninstalled Python 2.5 and installed python 2.7 and the Blender Nif script couldnt detect Python or PyFFi installation. ------------------------------I reinstalled everything, and i tried to import again, but it couldn't detect PyFFi. I'm using python 2.5 now, because Blender Nif scripts doesn't detects Blender 2.7 installation.
