Curp issues

I am not sure if it is the CURP, or the Kvatch reborn that uses CURP, but the main quest is broken in mine, all the guards run to skingrad...>.<

Not even kidding, get back from the gate closing, and talk to him and they all run to skingrad area, I stopped following them in run, so they might go further, and on top of that when entering the chapel green arrow points to in front of the alter, and there is no martin O.o (prods air) Needless to say other then that I toss my hands in the air and figure on a clean install to help, and such, unless someone knows of a way to install this without the issues, or if there is a reason for that, that i am missing...

 

Was considering attempting to reinstall FCOM, but that went over like a lead brick the last time I tried after getting it all installed it CTD no matter what I did, (points to dummy manual) even with that I lost so I dunno unless someone knows an awesome guide for lost and confused ivy chans XD

Try just doing the mainquest part that is screwed up while disabling all mods like FCOM, COBL, and ETC. Personally I don't even know what CURP stands for (either that or it's been so long I just forgot) but when in doubt and you can' figure it out it's best to just take away any and all variables against you rather than try to diagnose it. If you get passed the part that is broken by mods you can simply reenable them.

 

Personally I don't use a whole lot of mods, even though I'ma modder myself, (and I only use a very few of my own ever) so I don't really run into problems like this. Maybe if I did I could find out what's wrong for you, but I don't even know what FCOM does as I'm just not really interested. (Vanilla player, and not just for TES, for everything. Fo3, WoW, Sims (2 and 3) the list goes on and on and on. Don't ask me how I never get bored doing the same vanilla over and over, I just don't.

 

If things get really bad and you just can't quite get it a nice little cheat can help. Open the CS, find the quest stage you are having problems with, then look at the stage ID above that one. Go to the game, open console, and type the SetStage command to just bypass the broken part. I know it will take the excitement of playing it away, but it will also take the frustration of trying to even get it done away as well. Small sacrifices for the better of the computer not being thrown against the wall after devoting thirty months to trying to figure out one simple and stupid thing that just won't seem to get corrected no matter what you do until you buy a gun and then assassinate the person who made all the mods involved in your suspicion to the incompatibility and clashing, then digressing that chain of thought from progressed psychosis and going after the president of the united states.... from 80 years ago.... and never listening to when people say that he is already dead and you just yell that they are also part of the conspiracy to destroy your game but all they do in return is say "Why are you in my bathroom and who are you?" and following it up with "Please stop throwing bunnies at me while I'm trying to take care of business." At that point you realize that they are also part of the conspiracy as you never told them that you were throwing rabbits at them so how do they know what they are? Of all the things to assume that you were throwing at them, rifles, golden bowls, fishbearpigs, Adolf Hitler's mother's gravestone marker, and etc, they immediately somehow just KNOW that it is rabbits that you are throwing at them while they are on the toilet, YOUR toilet! Just because this isn't your house doesn't mean that the toilet isn't yous! So after killing them with one of the rabbits teeth that you shaped into a nuclear minimissile and eating their brains like carrots you return home (or what you thought was your home except you somehow wound up in Australia and you're no where near home) and logging on your computer you quickly realize that the game is not there and someone changed your background wallpaper image to a family that isn't your own and then die from Kuru right after because you ate that guy's carrot brain.

 

So hopefully you will avoid the possibility of this happening again to me by just skipping the quest stage.

Oh my god thank you, the whole rant you did made me smile, which was needed since i was ready to start tearing a pillow into pieces. I have decided, that FCOM, (which is a merger of fran monsters, obscuros, and a few other things,) just wasn't worth my head ache. Nor the horrid realization that I was standing in someone elses house with a set of rabid bunnies or such. ^.^ tee hee, and then two decided to do a clean install remember to make a copy of that clean install (which that head ache is for tomorrow) and go about installing only the mod I wanna use right then instead of a handful of race mods and only using one of like 20 (coughs and gives a psychotic grin) meh, but again thanks for the laugh and the tension breaker,

 

Now to go work on getting the character mods for the custom race that has been the source of all this evil need to reinstall as well as the CURP and kvatch reborn, hillsbrow(whatever it was) estate mess :pinch:

I knew you could use it. Also it's been a little bit of time since my last rant of digression. When I was in High School, I believe Junior year or something, we had a class on the computers after school was out. 2 hours and 45 minutes of Extended Summer School. Business Law, or PreBusiness Law, which was ironic because I had Business Law class before this one.

 

Anyways, we were given a paper that told us the page numbers and what questions to answer and then the book to read the pages and answer them on the computer using MS word. What I always did was skip the reading and answer the questions. I already knew it all and was in there simply for the extra credit. I did about 10 assignments a day when barely 10% finished one. So I had about an hour or so left after doing a lot. I'd go through the book, do some questions until it asked one that was opinionated, allowing me to digress from a line and a half to... 10 pages size 11 times new roman single spaced. I made a lawn mowing question end the world.... somehow I got credit for them, but never a lot... again, these were all for just one question.

 

If you want I can eventually rewrite a couple that I kept. Besides, I do need to make a clean copy. They are in terrible condition.

PS: Just a warning, in those digressive rants, there is a bit of making fun of Canadians. I'm not racist, I mean, read my signature. The definition for racism is a hate of a race, and in order to hate one thing you must first love another, and personally I just don't care about any of it. It is in those papers for the sole reason of comedy. As a matter of fact the people that appreciate the most are a few of my cross-wow Canadian friends. (and annoyed the hell outa of a Florida kid because it was really, really long.) Also, no matter what paper I can give you, the world will end. So if you do want to see em it would proly be through PM to avoid offending anyone. (The words "If you can't laugh at yourself... have died ever since naked Bill Clinton said them after being tomatoed.)

To ease my frustration, my test race is about to get buffed up with a cheat, and im gonna go on a killing spree in imperial city....

its bad to say that even the test race has skin issues, but im sure its due to the skin mod I added to see if it was any good, i was a moron and installed wrong or something who the hell knows, and at the moment I don't honestly care....its just going to get to put on some armor and run through causing pure havoc........tee hee nah, i completely understand i am not racist, and im not easily offended XP

The thing that I think is fun to do is to use console commands to give other guards a crime gold and see them all go to hell. I love doing that. I see the guards that go to try and take care of thje other guard with the crime and then I give a couple more some crime gold I go and assault a bunch of guards while in god mode in different parts of the city to get them to all go where it is that I want them to, then I remove my own crime gold and give like 5 others a buncha crime gold. When they are all trying to huddle around and kill only a couple of the guards they tend to accidentally hit some other people who were not having a crime gold count and then they just start combat with eachother. It really does cause a whole bunch of mayhem.

 

Also, aside from doing that, I like to use console commands to push actor away very very far when I get em to follow me and restrain them on the ledge of something very tall.

 

Okay I got majorly distracted for like the last 20 minutes over some news thing about Jessi Slaughter. I'ma lil peeved at it... It's "viral" apparently but I never even heard of it, and when I type in the "so called famous" catch phrase "you done goofed" in youtube I can't find the original!!! Poor girl, but... you know... she really needs to stop feeding the trolls. Or never started.

 

Anyways. I also like to pass the time with various "blank and giggle" mods to kill he adoring fan, you know, crummy mods never intended to look nice but intended to be fun to kill the adoring fan a billion ways, and the clone army of himself.
