Golems of Amgarrak

I think he/she is talking about The Darkspawn Chronicles, not Leliana's song.

The Grand Cleric was, indeed referring to that... Abomination (as I thought Her Exaltedness would know that I knew. ) I was simply reminding that not all the DA:O DLC has been scrapped from the excrement pile. (The pricing of them now, that's another topic. I do think the gap between "Great!", and "Great at the price!" is an important one that is often forgotten.)

Which category GoA falls in, ("Epic", "OK", or "Fail") is not yet clear.

I figured I would wait until I could get an independent review before making a decision on whether or not to purchase. Found the review here: http://greywardens.com/2010/08/golems-of-amgarrak-review/ and as a result I will not be donating $5 to BW/EA.

Strike 1: Does not add-on to the main campaign in Origins or Awakening

Strike 2: Another stupid puzzle

Strike 3: (Direct quote from the review) "If you read some of the preview material here about Jerrik and/or Brogan Dace, you got a lot more information about who they are and what their roles are than you do by actually playing the DLC."

Why pay money when you can get Castle Cousland, King Calenhads Tomb, Temple Of Vulak and The Gauntlet for free? They actually add to the main campaign. Even if I wanted an after game add-on, there are numerous user created crawlers and mini-campaigns available, also free.

Well, I've started playing it, and so far my impression is that this was released with the sole purpose of assuaging the PC fanbase.

If that was their plan, Epic Fail :verymad:

Now I was wondering about Castle Cousland and the other 3 mods for which you mentioned. How are they as far as game play and over all fit of the story line itself?

If that was their plan, Epic Fail :verymad:

It's a shame that (BW) imagination is as bad when it comes to stealing other ideas as it is making these DLCs at least the mods mentioned here involve your PC and the rest of the party.

Like I've said a few times now ANOTHER DLC I won't be buying, I wouldn't even want it as a gift, the number of DLCs listed in the downloadable content of the game is getting bigger, it's a shame you can't remove them.

Leliana's Song is the only DLC worth buying that is post-Origins and that is the only original idea they were able to come up with. There should be a serious shake down in the DLC department, seriously I don't see why ME's DLC is so good but DA's is just isn't. What's the problem the with the quality BioWare?
