Norinvaux
I posted this on the Technical Support thread, but I quickly realized this thread was more suitable for my problem. I recently, by request, retextured the Zealot robe from SI, and although it shows up in nifskope, it won't appear in-game, or even in the CS properly. First, it was invisible, so I corrected the _n.dds files. Then it turned pitch black, as if the _n.dds files don't exist. Now, once again, it's invisible. Anybody know what may be my problem?I went through and double-checked everything, and it still acts as if there's no normal map, which there is. Did you leave the _n.dds file named appropriately (the name corresponding to its associated .dds file)? If it was not appearing in game, is your version of Oblivion the latest, v1.2.0416? Norinvaux
Yeah, all the normal maps are named the exact same as their corresponding textures (apart from the _n), and the game engine still refuses to notice them. Also, my copy of oblivion is up to date, but that isn't a factor here, as it also didn't show up in other people's games/CS. It's an SI mod, so that may be why it's being buggy, but if anybody knows any other reasons why the engine won't recognize my normal maps properly, please post. I really want to get this working. Make sure that BSA redirection is set in OBMM > Utilities > Archive Invalidation.
