Random MOD crashes

Please check out my mod settings..

 

i've done everything.. fo3edit,fo3masterupdate and i even have fose installed. but i still keep on getting random crashes. before my game always freezes in metro tunnels where ghoul rampage.esm is activated. now when i turned it off i even have random crashes outside the museum station. please help me

Do you have the latest FOOk2? If so, there are a bunch of plugins you need to get rid of, because they are now built in. Like the Fook-MZ, My-Fook, Phalanx, Fook-w4nk, Fellout. Check their install readme. Get rid of the plugins you don't need, then rebuild your merged patch.

 

As far as the MMM-ghoul-rampage - I had to disable it because my system just couldn't handle it, but the 'fix' below might help.

 

When I had a cell that would just crash when loading it, I would uncheck all the MMM plugins (including the FOIP, merged patch and any other patch that requires MMM). Then load the game. Go to a cell with no NPCs/Creatures (except followers). Create a save from the menu (not a quick save). Exit the game. Recheck the MMM plugins and launch the game. Wait for 4 days in this cell so other cells respawn with the MMM NPC/Creatures. Hopefully you will find that your problem cell now loads without crashing.

i don't know if i have the latest FOOK2 but i downloaded everything from this link http://www.fookunity.com/downloads/

i downloaded the first,second,third and fifth file.

 

errr.. and could you be mroe specific with these things that you said?

I also have some more questions sir...

 

1. Is it ok to use FOIPs?

2.You think The Settler mod is ok?

3. How about phalanx? Does it go well with FOOK2?

 

1. You should use the FOIP for MMM-FOOK2 when it becomes available

2. I haven't tried the Settler mod - don't know what it is

3. Phalanx is an excellent mod that is now included with FOOK2, so you don't need the extra Phalanx plugins.

Delete EVERY SINGLE 1.0 plugins. W4NK, EVE, Mothership Zeta plugins, the main esms, remove them ALL.

 

This includes any plugin that starts with:

 

My-FOOK2 -

FOOK2 - [EVE] -

FOOK2 - Mothership Zeta

FOOK2 - [W4NK] -

PHALANX -

FELLOUT -

 

Get rid of them, because they are already included in the new FOOK2

 

Then rebuild your merged patch.

 

I don't know if FOIP is available yet for the new MMM/FOOK2 - I havn't been using either one at the moment. I'm on a FWE kick for now.
