GaminJock14
So I have been getting really frustrated with the way Fallout has been running. The game is extremely glitchy, it lags a lot, it crashes a lot, freezes my computer, and I cant enjoy playing Fallout for more than 10 freakin minutes. Ive already tried setting the graphics the low quality, everything to its lowest level, and yet the horrible performance continues. Ive also already downloaded a mod called FO3 RAM Boost, which "significantly" increases the games performance. Well not for me, it still keeps giving me horrible performance. Ive tried almost every possible way to improve the performance. Ive closed ALL of my programs (including my AntiVirus), and still gives me horrible performance. Please, any kind of help is appreciated.
Ranokoa
There are a couple of things I need to know in order to help you further. 1: How big are your hardrive(s) and how much space is left?2: How much RAM does your computer have?3: What operating system are you using?4: Do you have a legal copy of the game and not a torrented version? (if not, get a legal copy, because the illegal ones will never work properly)5: Laptop or PC?6: Graphics Card, Video Card, Game Card, etc.7: How old is the computer?8: How many mods, and what mods, do you use?9: Do you have the graphics turned down completely to the lowest possible settings?10: Do you use the CD for the game to load or a burnt image? (This is legal to do so long as you have store bought version. To find out the entire legality about it you can use google or ask.) If you do not have a lot of ram there are ways to get some artificially. Go buy as big of a flash drive as you are willing to, each gig is all the better, and look up in Youtube on how to turn the flashdrive into extra RAM Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.~Ranokoa

One is completely empty, and there is exactly 35 gigs left in my main hard drive. 2.1.00 GB3.Windows 74.Torrented version (I actually did think this might be the problem. Im probably going to get the original copy tomorrow. But the help is still useful)5.Laptop6.NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT7.About 3 years old.8.I am currently using: FreePlay After MQ, WeaponMod Kits, Steiner Combat Gear, Colt M4 Carbines, and M14 Sniper Rifle. 9.Yes. I already have them tuned all the way down, and it still gives me poor performance, almost the same as if I had it in Ultra quality.10.Burnt image. Ranokoa
Well, you could definitely use more ram, and buy a legal copy.Pirated versions always have some problem with them or another, most of the time they have a billion problems and just never work properly. Also, more often than not, viruses and malware. Once you obtain a legal copy please take a pic and upload it so that I know, until then I am sorry to say but I refuse to help further. (I wish I had two harddrives of 150... I got 110 and 70.. Barely anything.) Anyways, for proof it's you with a legal copy give me a V with the fingers, peace sign, you know. Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.~Ranokoa
