FOMM Error Fix !!!

WINDOS XP SOLUTION :

one day my Fomm is error or crash every time i try, i am re-installed and so on...lucky it says that it created crash dump report. i was search all over the internet all people seems had same problem in windows XP, Vista or 7.

 

inside the crash dump report i found about warning of netframe work bla bla bla...

so heres my solution on windows xp...

 

this Fomm looks like had an problem with windows net frame work... but its doesnt clear which one.

in my case, i had inside add/remove program :

- net 2.0

- net 2.0 sp 1 (it will become sp 1 after u update sp 1 - 2.0 is gone it self)

- net 3.0

- net 3.0 sp 1

- net 3.5

 

in fomm crash dump its tells about netframe 2.0 sp1 error with some other reason that to long to type.

 

the solution is un-install the net frame work...

-- first uninstall ur FOMM. dont worry after work again the mods will automatically set to its places as before ( DO NOT DELETE THE OLD FOMM Folder and its sub !!!!)

if u had above netframe work 2.0 installed, try to uninstall ur lastest net frame.

for example mine, i uninstall my net frame 3,5 - 3.0 sp 1, 3.0 , then ur 2.0 sp 1 and 2.0

---- restart ur PC by ur self !!! theres no warning about restart so u have to restart it by urself.

 

---- after login ur windows, install again ur net frame work...2.0...(DO NOT install 2.0 sp 1) and then net frame 3.0.

the problem so far in my opinion is the stupid net framework 2.0 sp 1 !!!!

 

---- install again ur FOMM, and it will automaticaly detect ur last FOMM folder, and finish it.

try run ur FOMM and have a nice day in bad lands.

WINDOWS VISTA AND WINDOWS 7 :

in windows vista and 7, i am just about to re-tell the others member solution is by run administrator ur shortcut of FOMM

thanks to bethesda for great game ever. eventhough many bugs >.< home the NEw Vegas wont dissapointing.
