Also known as spray and pray. The probability of hitting anyone - except for possibly an innocent bystander or a low flying bird, is very low. The intent is more to cause the other guy to keep his head down than to hit him. It actually doesn't work very good against well trained troops. While you are hosing down the scenery and scaring the birds, they are aiming - at you.

Another drawback is that after a few magazines your weapon is so hot it can jam, warp the barrel or burn your hand.
