Ok, so the game is boring now ?

Can't remember when last I played skyrim ... it got sooooo boring ... did everything possible.

Can someone please make some machine guns and add a Chinese stealth suit.

Or better yet, anyone have any ideas on how to get the juices flowing for skyrim again ?

I was at that point myself, so I took a break for a bit and played some other games just to clear my mind of things Skyrim and I installed some mods to make the game that bit more challenging. I use Simple Taxes, Become a Beggar, Become a Skooma Dealer, Skyrim Immersive Creatures, Frostfall, Wet and Cold and all addon packs, and turned the setting up to legendary. I decided to get into character and really role play. :)

Add all those immersive mods that complicate life. That's what I did and I'm starting up a new game now. Frostfall, Realistic Need and Diseases, SkyrimRedone, Hunterborn, Deadly Dragons.. You can also add ( i personally dont fancy them but they are great mods) Immersive Cretures, Immersive Weapons and Amor... You can also think about Helgen Reborn or Falskar ...

I went through the whole game and ended up disappointed in it. Dragonborn my first and full playthrough along with all other dlcs, it was just so boring after a while. I ended up disgusted with whatshername in the nord hall near the skaal village. Thought about marrying her sister but she sounds just like lydia and she is the sister of that wretch! the raven rock player home was a big let down. Lots of bugs with the mannequins and weapon racks, I don't like smelters and forges inside my player homes:-( so I would have to mod that house too just to get it right. The WORST thing about skyrim now for me is those dam furless ewoks! I don't want to kill short little cutesy things that throw spears at me WHY are they in the dam game?

 

Lots of other problems and bugs I don't like about skyrim now, unofficial patches try to fix everything but that bug where the afflicted guy replaces every wanderer encounter and the giant encountered near whiterun for the companions introduction dies before I can even get one arrow in him, also that weird female animation bug where ALL females start spinning around after about 100 hours play time. I have to REDO ALL of my house mods from scratch in latest ck instead of just updating them by loading in latest ck and saving after making changes for hearthfire. I really screwed up my player home mods trying to make them compatible with immersive beds mod too:-(

 

Having to work out the looking to the sides slows down the game bug EVERY TIME I decide to reload my gaming pc AND get enb boost without enb graphics options working flawlessly every time I play the game is just too much work.

 

The game is just not worth playing for now, I can still remember where everything is and how much I hate a bunch of quests in the game. I also hate that I can't adopt a pet without adopting a kid first. I want to get meeko and put it in my solitude house let the housecarl there take care of it while I am gone but nope, gotta have kids first. Try playing through the game without talking to aventus arentino and be forever randomly attacked by DB assasins until you kill his mean old lady friend! I REALLY hate the dark brotherhood quest in skyrim, completely disappointed in it. I did not want to be come the leader and many of the missions are just stupid. The whole markarth storyline is stupid! Leader of the companions and thane of some other holds already and I get thrown in jail because I was talking to the wrong people at the wrong times:-( I can't enjoy dawnguard because it starts too early but if I don't get the crossbow early enough it seems like I can't be bothered with dawnguard for some reason. Got one of those mods that halts dawnguard until I go to their fort. I hate that the people are STILL living outside the fort and bitching about their living conditions even AFTER I finish the dlc and serana just kinda chills out there, lame. Soul cairn sucks without quest marker mods, not being able to park multiple horses in my hearthfire homes and LEAVE them there come back later use them etc that sucks too.

 

 

There is just too much wrong with this game for me to bother with it anymore unless some large amount of time passes between play times. Found on google next elder scrolls game is coming out 2016 set in argonia? don't know if any of that is true or not but dam that is a long time away from now. Also not fond of argonians, they just look like talking hand bags to me lol and they all sound the same. Argonians live in a giant swamp so they next ES game is set in a giant swamp where every npc is using the same voice it doesn't sound too exciting:-( They could have went totally outside the box and sent the player to another world in the ES universe, not another dimension but another WORLD! But nope just send the player to a swamp yeah lets punish them for all that complaining about the bugs in skyrim lol:-( That is IF the rumor is true.

 

 

I tried playing fallout new vegas and found it boring and tedious so quit about half way through. Having to find out from a wiki page who I should talk to and exactly when in order to talk to someone else for the storyline I prefer is stupid! couldn't just play the dam game and get the whole storyline and also bugs there too.

 

Contemplating on loading up oblivion or mass effect 3 just hate the grind of oblivion and the stupid ending of me3. Only thing coming out soon is another call of dewkie game oh boy, at least this time there is no roarke that can't be killed and doesn't drag you off at the end totally ruining the dam ending. Maybe kevin spacey jumps out of a window in the end to escape the player like the last boss of that crappy syndicate game. Even that crap ending would be better than the last cod game ending.

Jeez Dragonslayer, you need to lighten up a little! The game is not 100% perfect, it is what you make it, that's what's great about it. There are plenty of creative mods that make the game more interesting, and sure the occasional CTD is annoying even if your set-up is squeaky clean.

@ Boombro ... just took a peek at "Beyond Skyrim", and yes it looks amazing. Is this coming out as a mod ?

Or would I have to reload Oblivion and if so - forgive my ignorance - do I play Oblivion or is there some kind of portal or

other access point/fast travel from Skyrim to Cyrodil ?

It's a mod. All the asset are custom made. It has no link to Oblivion. Not story, nor content.

The first part, Bruma, will be released some time soon. Cyrodiil as a whole will be released when it is finished. It will take a while, but that's how it goes.
