More Hairstles

More Hairstyles and PTs Vibrant colors just don't seem to wanna work together? But I've read somewhere that they are supposed to.

If they do work together then can someone answer why they aren not working?

And if they don't work together is there some way I can get what I want (More colors [skin, eyes, hair] and more hairstyles)?

Anytime that you use more than one chargen mod with another one, they dont play together. UNLESS you have a modified chargenmorphcfg.xml file.

Each mod of this type uses that particular file to list what it adds to the chargen options. The game is dumb in the aspect that it will not read more than one of these files. Thus, you have to combine their files into one, to make them both work.

TerraEx has released a program that does a great job of making those files into a singuluar file. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=971

Just make sure to set it to remove the old copies afterwards. ;)

No problem at all, and glad that I could point you in the right direction :)

Just remember to run that program again, if you add any more mods that add hairs, skins, eye colors, tattoos, and stuff like that, so that it can update the chargenmorphcfg.xml file.

You wont need to run it if you add a mod which changes an existing face. (tho if it has something like a hairstyle that you dont have, you'll have to run it again in order for that hairstyle to show up on any character of Yours (not an NPC toon) that you decide to make, after installing the mod for the new hair.
