DanielShougun
This maybe addressed somewhere on the forum already but after hours of searching I haven't found it, so here is a thread for it.I've been trying to customize my players voice found in Data/sound/voice/fallout3.esm/playervoicefemale. For some odd reason the files i'm trying to apply will not work. I'm using the correct file format (.ogg) and the correct file names, but they don't work. I thought that the files might be to big so I've lessened the quality and got them down to 15kb or less. That didn't work either. I'm stumped. Any ideas? pkleiss
For some odd reason the files i'm trying to apply will not work. You'll have to be more specific on where they are not working because as far as I know, the player doesn't talk anywhere in the game.

This is the folder (playervoicefemale) that contains files for the player's grunts and such when getting hit, doing a power attack, or dying. Those are the files i'm trying to replace so the grunts will match the voice i'm using in Fearil's Player Voice Mod (http://www.fallout3n...le.php?id=13743). rickerhk
are you placing the voice files in the correct directory? Data/sound/voice/My-Mod-Name.esp/playervoicefemale. Edit - actually, if you are just changing sound files and not the info, then Data/sound/voice/fallout3.esm/playervoicefemale probably is the correct path. pkleiss
Ok then, that makes sense. So what is happening? Are you still getting the original grunts or are you just getting no sound at all where there used to be grunts? Are your new files 44,100 Hz, mono (single channel) files? Have you over written the original files that you extracted from the Sound BSA?

That must be it. i'll tweak them a bit and make them mono. thanks so much for your help and fast responses.
