Respecting the dead

Hey there,

 

I was clearing an office building filled with Super Mutants the other day, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for the skeletons of past humans who were burnt to death by the fallout or killed by the Super Mutants. I know it sounds kind of pathetic to feel sympathy for corpses of video game characters, but it would be an interesting feature to be able to bury them.

 

To perhaps carry their remains to a respectable area, and bury them in a grave, with perhaps a headstone.

 

Anyway, its just a thought. But if somebody had the time, that would be great.

You could get karma as a reward or a new perk like protection of the dead when you bury enough them.

Its funny how I actually care about anything that doesn't shoot at me even though its just a video game, but it would probably be a simple mod for someone to make, be able to pick up skeletons, have a few places here or there that you can bury for karma.

There are burial mound and grave models and textures already in the game, all you need is a modder with some motivation.

I think it would be a good first mod for anyone who wants to learn how to. Everything should be doable with just the GECK.
