Question on Gates to Astigard

Hope I spelled that right.

 

I saw that there are only 2 episodes. If there is one thing I HATE on Episodeic gaming, it is that when peopel release episodes, sometimes they stop before the end.

 

My question is this: I want ot know if episode 2 cleanly ends the story. I don't want to play it at all if it stops at a cliffhanger and we all know that it will NOT ever be finished.

 

I've another question as well. There is a mod where you get to become the count of Kvatch and clean it up. Is it called Kvatch Rebuilt, and is it considered to be a GREAT mod? (For something that big of a DL, as I'm sure it is, I don't want to waste time on a DL that isn't great.)

Kvatch Rebuilt I have only tried in the beginning stages, but I do recommend it.

 

Gates to Aesgaard or whatever is a very good mod. I do not really know if Episode Two ends it, or if Episode Two is a standalone and Episode One is a stand alone, but I am sure that others have asked, so I would just read through the comments on it or PM the author. All I know is that cliffhanger or not it is too worth the download.

There was an Episode 3 planned, but it has been abandoned sadly. From a news post on December 9 2009 from the official Gates of Aesgaard site:

 

 

Unfortunately the 3d and final episode has been cancelled. There will be No Gates to Aesgaard 3 coming out any time soon.

This is not the end though. We gather our "digital forces" again, but this time for a greater purpose.

We're working on a complete New game from scratch, based on UDK, a stand alone version of the famous Unreal Engine 3.

That means that it will be entirely made by us. No more mods and incombatibilties.

I repeat: A complete new game.

 

In the meantime, we'll keep supporting the already existed addons for tes-4 and keep this website active for you.
