So I've been trying to add some mods to the game recently, some go alright, the ones that have one file and are dazip , I just add with DAO Updater. Others, I've beent trying to add through DAO Mod Manager. The ones I had through that, won't work.

I have no clue how to work with the mod manager, could anyone help me with this? I

heyas!

Well, considering what some of the issues Could be, it would be better for us to be able to help you if you could please expand on what happens when you say "won't work".

Are they not showing up in the folders? Are you getting an error message? What file types are you trying to put into the DaMM, stuff like that ;)

Well it's just basicly setting up the config. I've tried the DAO modupdater manual, but that doesn't help much. Also I'm not too sure if I'm doing the override files right, I just exract the files, then drag them into the mod manager , click add, then install them on the first menu.

For mods with more than one file, I have no clue how to override that

Mod files that are named *.dazip should be dragged into DAO-Modmanager's dazip storage folder and then installed using the program, or can also be installed with the game's updater (although the updater cant uninstall).

Mod files named *.override (which is very few mods) should be dragged into DAO-Modmanager's override storage folder and then installed using the program. These mods are configurable override mods packed into a single file for easy handling.

Mods with multiple files are usually just regular file overrides. They should be placed under [documents]\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override. Files there will apply only to your user profile. Mods can also placed in [DAO install dir]\packages\core\override, and these files will apply to all profiles. These override mods simply override existing game files.

You do need to be online to verify the official DLC each time you load up DAO , didn`t notice this with patch 1.03 but it happens all the time since I went with the 1.04 version. either that or the authorisation server is getting a lot slower so making it more noticeable

I've noticed the same thing since going to 1.04. I have to re-validate all DLC every time I start the game. I just automatically go to the "Downloadable Content" tab now and wait to avoid getting the error/warning messge if I try to start playing too soon.! :pinch:

That is fine you just put it in your override folder or use DAO Modmanager to instal the override file. I use the other mod manager myself and find that using both of them works nicely , so far :)
