caterpie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I have downloaded and installed ALL the components needed I think, but I'm not sure I did it right. The programs I downloaded and installed are:Blender 2.49bpython 2.7PyFFI-2.1.5.cb92090blender_nif_scripts-2.5.5.90a8d2f Please, anyone who know anything about this, are these the right programs(python2.6 isn't on the download page for python anymore and the 4th item on the list doesn't read python 2.7 as an upgraded version)
Tchos Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 You could try this as an alternative. This is a modified version of Blender designed to work without the need for installing, so that it can be run either on the hard drive or on a removable drive such as a USB stick, and it says it has Python integrated into it. You'd still need to install the NIF scripts into it, though. http://www.winpenpack.com/en/download.php?view.41

Tchos Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I don't know. Whichever one is latest, I would think. It's been a while since I've looked into it.

caterpie Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 I believe so. Thank you so much, the online helper stuff doesn't help so much anymore since it just confuses me like crazy. I found out that this is a good download source for anyone who is experiencing my problem.http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12248
