kieranfoy
Well, you see, lads, in the words of the worlds first modder (the Norseman Elthwyth the Leet) "Aye, ye anymation do be yte an realle buggyr for to mak yte be sooth." On the flip side, it's beeing done, so I can't wait to see it!
Aria C
I actually really like TC's idea... I mean, not every single thing that kills a person in this world causes instant death. I think it would be a little interesting if characters died a little slower then just ragdolling for every single attack. I mean I think it just looks ridiculous to see a character dying instantly to something small like a rat or a mudcrab. Or also drowning... If your underwater and you start drowning, you struggle a little first before you die, right? And even magic too. No one dies instantly when set on fire. Anyways, yeah... I like TC's idea. Agreed, I also miss the drawn out death scenes that are more common in the adventure type games such as tomb raider ect. It would be pretty awesome to see my character struggle in quicksand, swallowed up by a giant snake or even stagger to her death after suffering a mortal wound. The world in oblivion isn't very intimidating cause there's only one way to die... I mean, I love my character too, but I wouldn't mind seeing her getting killed in different, interesting ways... Also what about lava? I know this is kinda pushing it, but isn't it lame watching characters fall in lava and they just float there? What if when you fell in lava, it melted your body to the bone? ...I mean, there's a mod out there that makes vampires burn up and turn into skeletons when you kill them. Couldn't you be able to do the same thing with lava? Or even fire damage in general?
