Trade Route Mod Suggestion.

Ok well ive started to play oblivion again and now with all these mods that ive installed i just love it, but i wanted to make a character thats sorta like a highwayman who robs travalers and caravans. But now that im looking for mods that add travelers and caravans to the game i haven't found any that are good enough in my opinion for a highwayman. So i have this idea of a mod that adds trade routes to oblivion, and these trade routes control the economy of the oblivion world. So here are the details: There will be caravans going from city to city supplying the cities and keeping the economy moving, and they'll have guards and there wont be just one caravan but a good number of them in a line. And these caravans will be carrying everything from fruits to armors. And if these caravans get blocked off from the city that they're going to the city wont have as many goods for sale as they would normally. And if a few of these caravans get robbed or destroyed than the city wont have any supplies at all for sale and people will start to rebel and die, and the economy will be thrown off balance.

 

I guess thats mostly what ive been thinking about, if i have any more ideas on this i will just post them here and i really hope someone considers making this mod, i think itl be a very fun mod for those who enjoy robbing travelers. Thanks for reading.

If you want to be a highwayman, wouldn't it be easier to just make a mod that puts lots of respawning travelers and caravans and guards on the road?

 

I think you would run into some major scripting problems in trying to have all the vendors have variable amounts of goods for sale depending on how many trade caravans have been intercepted.
