Oblivion crashes after Great Sigil Stone

Oblivion keeps crashing during the loading phase, after picking up the Great Sigil Stone from the Great Gate quest.

Does anyone know why this is happening and the solution to fixing this problem? Thanks~

Since you have an exceeding short list of mods, the only thing I could possibly wag a finger at is one of the unofficial patches. I've never bothered using any of them, but try selectively disabling some of those.
