Shamanistic armor?

Does anyone know of a mod that makes something of the sort? Preferably light or cloth armor. I can't seem to find any on tesnexus.

It depends on what you mean by "shamanistic" armor. Your definition of what a shaman is might be different from mine. Are you looking for mystical flowing robes, or more like animal skins and horns?

 

I just saw a couple of the skins-and-horns variety last night while cleaning out my clothing mods. Hang on, let me find you some links. This is mostly stuff I found back when I was hunting desperately for a fur-lined Eskimo hood (which I have yet to find, sadly, and I just don't have the skills to make it).

 

Here we go. Vahi's Wardrobe has some wolfskin jackets and overcoats. I'm not sure if they're armor or not, but if not you could easily turn them into armor with a few clicks in the CS. (If you need help with that, I can walk you through it.)

 

There's also Arctic Gear Improved by LHammonds, and there are two other versions of the same thing but with meshes made for Exnem and Robert's Male. Just search "arctic gear" and they'll pop up.

 

Holgar's Barbarian & Buccaneer Outfitter has some animal pelt loincloths and boots.

 

Also, if you search "shaman" on the Nexus a few things pop up. I haven't tried any of these personally so can't endorse, but they look promising. First one is clothing not armor but you can fix that easily.

You might also try searching for "ranger" since there's a lot of hits for that and it seems to pull up the same kind of leather-and-fur stuff.

I was really wanting something Native American looking, like robes with the feathers and all that good stuff. I did see some of that 'shaman armor', but it looks way too skimpy and airy to be on a male character. However, I managed to find something relatively shaman like with a druid pack, but I feel that there's better out there.
