ub3rman123 Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 So you want to convert the Oblivion .dds files (Textures) to something you can edit.. The simplest solution is to install Irfanview and get the .dds plugin for it, then you can just open the .dds files, copy them, then paste them into GIMP or something. Or get the GIMP .dds plugin, and save the step of Irfanview. Plus, Irfanview can't handle transparency, so it's probably best to just get the GIMP plugin. Another method is to download the DDS Converter, which can convert between a large number of file types. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on Vista/Widows 7.
