silverdragon5
Right now Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are on sale on steam. I own them on the 360 but would not mind getting them on pc for the 15$ they cost right now. But i have heard people say the games are unstable on windows 7. Is there any truth to this? bben46
They both work fine for me - using Win7 x64 pro version. Fallout 3 is an older version on DVD. And FO:NV is a steam download. Recommendation, move the steam client OUT of the UAC Protected 'program files' folder. This will prevent a lot of the problems involved with using mods with games. I put all games into a separate E:\Games folder - so steam ( with all of its games) is in E:\Games\SteamSteam makes it easy to move without having to reinstall anything - and even provides instructions on how to do it. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=231 I also install all game related programs in that location - for example NMM is in E:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager, LOOT is in E:\Games\LOOTI have all of my game related stuff on my E:\ drive, but this will work if you use C:\ for everything as well - C:\Games\steam - etc.
