MunkyWrench
Recently coming back to Oblivion because I miss the good ole classic rpg single player. And since all and all this is my favorite source for mods. I'm surprised on the fail of a Warhammer mod. Too many big steps and looking at it with too much false promises people didn't see what was already in front of them. So small proposal. Parlay if you wish. Please send me links of modding this game. (I've done other mods, particularly Mount&Blade for its great simple sandbox)But its been a while since I modeled, 2 years to be exact. For this is an idea to start.Forget about the whole Chaos hordes and all that waffle.Lets work with what we got, and add a little. So here it is:Replace the Imperial guard and all the township guards to Reiksguard.Throw in some nice feathered hats, easy. Leather caps, probably already done.Mix and match some armor to get as close as possible. Maybe hand make some parts, again easy.Add some emblems and blessed badges. Get some meshes for shields. Then the priests. Modified robes to look more resembled.Probably hand make some stuff there. But apart of the small detail. Here's the sha-bang.Part 1 of the master plan. Vampire Counts.Undead infestation. And the coming of the great eclipse. We already have undead npcs. Done.Make some robes for vampires. Easy.Custom make some Blood Knight armor. Would take a while. But it'd be done. But I am not a script maker. Codes aren't my thing.I make models, that's my primary. I can sorta do textures and meshes. But I got some books and sources that I could brush up around that area. So what do you guys think? Not too hard. And its not blown out of proportion. Most of the material needed is right there. Gonna hook me up with those tools or what? Tell me what you use, and I'll do the same. There's hundreds of them, but I don't want to just download something that I probably won't use and isn't vital to MY skills. And is there a particular 3D modeling program I have to use?All I got is the one I've used for Mount&Blade.
