SaintAnon Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Is there a resource esm containing items added by the Vile Lair DLC? mainly the statue of Sithis, the Ichor Basin, and the 3 variants of the human statues... I tried converting the whole plugin into a master myself with TES4Gecko but while this made the items work as a resource caused all sorts of weird rips in the landscape with whole buildings and fields just gone... I'm guessing this is due to a LO issue due to the DLCVailLair not being in its correct place and not being able to correct it due to masters having to be loaded first. A link to a existing resource or a link to ripping apart plugins and creating custom masters would be much appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TodaY Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Coverting the DLC into an esm is not smart, because it will always cause that tear. In Oblivion, esms have the same priority in LO, and when they make changes to the same area in the landscape Oblivion will not know what esm to listen to and therefore cause the lansdcape to go back to default. You can always write down the file paths of the items you want to add and write in the fiepath to the nif manually, or extract the items you want frm the .bsa. Thanks for the explanation for what exactly is causing the rips, figured it was something along those lines. I'm relatively new to modding so learning new things everyday.
