Invisible Weapon Problem

Hey guys first post in the forums in all my years of being on the nexus! :O

I am having a problem with one of my mods were a bow texture I made which uses an alternate aurielsbow.nif (so it is not a re placer) is showing up as invisible when dropped and doesn't appear properly in the item menu.

 

It is a small bug I have neglected to fix for a while.

I wouldn't say I am the greatest at modding so it is probably a simple error but any help would be appreciated.

Including a link to your mod would have been a good idea... but apparently i found it. Nice texture by the way.

 

 

To your problem:

You have to assign a 1stperson model.

(in creation kit: open 1stpersonEbonyBow, rename it to 1stpersonEbonyGreatBow and edit the filepath (choose your .nif), choose "create new form" on exit. Then assign this new created 1stperson model to your weapon)

 

 

 

EDIT: You should also make sure that there are no "unnecessary" edits in your esp. I don't know exactly what your mod is supposed to do, except of adding a new bow, but you are overwriting a bunch of crap in the solitude fletcher cell. You are also overwriting the vanilla ebonybow.

 

If you ask me: Get tes5edit if you don't already have it and delete those dirty edits.
