toadlet Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 how does it work? In the Geck, when adjusting a follower, what exactly does the disposition base do, and how does it work? what's the difference between 35 or 200 for instance? How does it effect the karma or reactions of the npc? will the npc be more or less likely to like you with the big number or smaller????? I did a search on the subject and found nothing helpful, so an answer would be great. :wallbash:
rickerhk Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I don't know what the range is, but i'm pretty sure that higher numbers mean a 'better' attitude toward the player. If you look at the CG04Overseer, his disposition is set to 65, and he's also set to 'unaggressive'. Even though he is in the Vault101SecurityFaction, he doesn't attack the player right away. But if you give up your weapons to him, the result script of that dialog sets him to aggressive, which is enough to have him aggro on the player.
toadlet Posted August 8, 2010 Author Posted August 8, 2010 that's what i was thinking, but i wanted it verified.
BadPenney Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Disposition range: 0 = Incoming!!!25 = "Oh it's you. What do you want now?"50 = "Good afternoon."75 = "Hi! How are you?"100 = "Thank God you are back!"
