Razortramp Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Hi! I have a really annoying bug and I don't know what the hell to do about it. Seems like some input signal repeats itself endlessly and causes several things to happen: 1.) When I bring up the holo globe it automatically starts spinning and won't stop at all.2.) When I try to rename a soldier or a medal the "typing indicator" (I have no idea what this blip is called) keeps itself on the left side of the name I am about to change. There is no way to change the name but typing backwards. WTF is this sh***? I have the suspiction that my save file is corrupted somehow. Can't recall that bug to occour in the first few hours of playing the game. When I change the game everything seems to be normal. Google doesn't say anything about this bug, but maybe you guys know what this is. Can someone help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dubiousintent Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Which game and patch version are you playing, and what (if any) mods have you installed? What changed recently? This is definitely not normal behavior, but it sounds more like a hardware problem rather than the game itself. I've seen similar behavior as in instance 2 resolved by simply unplugging the keyboard and/or mouse and replugging them in. If you have a spare mouse or keyboard around, try swapping them out to see if that has any effect. Also try a "cold reboot" (power down, and wait 30 seconds before powering up again). Finally you can try updating your drivers if it's been a while. Sound driver (surprisingly enough) can also have strange interactions with the mouse, video, and keyboard as well, so updating all of them is worth looking into.
