Sarah Lyons - A Romantic Interest for the Lone Wanderer?

Greetings, everyone. I like to start a conversation.

I understand that there are some Fallout 3 players who debate whether Sarah Lyons could be a romantic interest for the Lone Wanderer, other than the arguments relating to Amata. Well, here's my opinion. It would seem likely that a male Lone Wanderer would choose Sarah Lyons to be a love interest, considering both he and Sarah would be courageous fighters. While she is a Brotherhood of Steel sentinel never running from a fight, he is a hardened wasteland survivor. Falling in love with someone who is strong in will and having excellent survival instinct. Two people who would have one thing in common. If you think of it that way, it would make perfect sense.
All of this would make a convincing story events after Fallout 3, if possible. Well, there is one thing to consider, despite all of this. The Lone Wanderer is 19 years old; but while looking at the Fallout wiki, I discover that Sarah Lyons is 26. Seven years older than the Wanderer. Hmm, maybe not unusual. For example, in Top Gun, Lt. Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is five years younger than his love interest Charlotte Blackwood. In the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Anakin Skywalker is perhaps seven or nine years younger than Padme Amidala. At least it's not like Demi Moore's former marriage with Ashton Kutcher or Aaron Taylor-Johnson's marriage with Sam Taylor-Wood. Look those names up if you don't know them. Not meaning to make criticisms or anything.

I'd say Moira is makes a bit more sense (or none at all). Thing is, she wrote the Lone Wanderer's biography after the game's events, therefore, she probably knew him a lot better than any other character (seeing as most people weren't even sure if he was male or female).

Plenty of possibilities. Long-term, a male LW has as good a shot with Sarah Lyons as with Amata or Moira.

I for one think he and Sarah Lyons, certainly had chemistry, especially if the player character is male, the game definitely hints a lot towards it.

I like this as it is sort of hinted at the end of broken steel that sarah wishes we could've been friends, perhaps implying the want to be with someone who she didn't necessarily see as family as she's known most of the brotherhood members her whole life and the wanderer is someone who's skill is equal to if not greater than the whole of the lyons pride,showing their strength as reliability in a fire fight and that they're not some random merc that's likely to turn tail and run if things get bad and she could especially have great respect for a good karma wanderer and if they did hook up,it could help us to understand what mightve happened to the wanderer as they would've lost someone especially important to them and after the full MQ and trouble on the homefront ,they could've just broke-moved out west to just kill and take their mind off the pain of all their loss,in my roleplay the wanderer became the courier (yes canonicaly I know its impossible but just for the sake of fanfic I did this) . Or and this is the most likely canon theory for me and is actually possible unlike being courier or deacon after fallout 3,they left earth behind to hunt down Zetans and protect earth,the crashed ship in fallout 4 could've been shot down by the wanderer for all we know,but getting back on topic yes I agree it's a highly likely pairing Edited October 15, 2019 by Therisius

Here my opinion i know this dead post but what happened between sentinel lyons and LW??? sometimes 2278 lone Wanderer married with her,and they both leave citadel and build house arround megaton/nearest springvale,elder Lyons probably,said that they both or Sarah Will be marked as a death in entry terminal so they can't taking risk for duty again for brotherhood of steel Commonwealth, and they both should focussed take care of duty only in capital wasteland i.e Washington DC,and focussed About have fammily for LW and sentinel lyons and for bOs capital wasteland chapter. So Sarah/or elder Lyon send squire maxon to the Commonwealth since sentinel and LW not ordered for duty again in outside capital wasteland/Washington DC.

 

2078 8 month, Elder lyons is death so Sarah will become as a next elder for bos capital wasteland chapter while take care of her fammily and her husband (lone Wanderer) and even if they both has a baby/kid.

 

If you say what if Lone Wanderer like amata and married her,ummm i guess nope since because of lone Wanderer make that vault 101 destruction,and probably her father will not agree if his daughter married to LW or even people in vault 101 still blamming lone Wanderer for entire death of vault resident during the escape from vault. Susie Mack say this in random encounter.

 

Hopefully bethesda recreated fallout 3 again its called fallout 3 _the capital wasteland chapter_ with fallout 4 grhaphic. Its the story of lone Wanderer after fallout 3 event. That game let us married with one of girl on capital wasteland that will be nice.

What if lone Wanderer have relationship with Sydney ( the rellic Hunter girl that you found in national archieve)...?

Since Sydney look like love the lone Wanderer because you found the tape record of her death father sound and Sydney reward her smg only for you.

 

There problably 6 girls that one of them married lone Wanderer

 

1.sentinel lyons A.K.A sarah( very Cleary possible)

2.reyli rangers ( possible)

Reason: because you only the one guys that can rescue her squad and face to face figth with mutants.

3 Sydney ( possible)

4.amata ( impossible but i am not sure)

5.moira brown ( problably possible)

6.scribe yearling ( hmm i guess not but possible)

I think the Lone Wanderer, should be a woman and Lone Wanderer should have a romantic interest with Amata.

Sarah Lyons does become a romantic interest for the Vault Dweller from 111 in Fallout 4, via the mod Project Valkyrie.

 

Trivia - she also runs into Henry Casdin's niece Heather Casdin in the Commonwealth.
