help oblivion freezes

well did all that and installed unofficial patches with supplemental but still not working,

this is just horible i wont be able to play oblivion its such a awesome game and i wasted £20 on buyin it from steam too :cry:

 

What are your hardware specs... graphic card, sound card, memory, etc?

dxdiag reports no problems, my system is able to run this on everything max in the first dungeon part but freezes after exiting sewers, tried lowering settings but still same prob...

As a test, try turning off the sound in the game and then see if it still freezes. I've heard of sound card/driver issues causing seemingly unrelated problems such as crashes. If it still crashes after you turn off sound, well, at least you know that isn't the problem.

yep disabled all the audio device and yet again BAM punch in my face freezed again :wallbash:

since oblivion doesnt work what are the chances of fallout 3 working?? i dont want to buy another game and waste my money finding out it doesnt work
