WaffleCheesebread
I tried one before. It was nice, but trees in the immediate distance had horrible pop-in, and they'd suddenly completely change to a higher quality texture. It was extremely obnoxious and difficult to deal with. I'm wary to install another one because I have no idea if it will be the same, and the comments don't say a thing on any of them about things like that. Opinions? Ariakace
im currently using GreenWorld, which seems to be working fine for me. if you search the database, search for Summer, theres a couple interesting looking ones in there. "It was nice, but trees in the immediate distance had horrible pop-in, and they'd suddenly completely change to a higher quality texture. WaffleCheesebread
The trees in Greenworld look pretty horrible. :\ It's the only reason I haven't tried it (Assuming it isn't the very same one mentioned in the first post). And they aren't really placed with any sort of discretion, I think.
Ez0n3
I'm pretty sure Greenworld mod just did a find and replace on the dead trees with live ones. If the LOD isn't re-generated, the new ones will "pop-in" at a certain distance. Entire Wasteland LOD re-generation takes a heck of a PC a mighty long time - which is normally why it's skipped. Also, the elm trees don't have a collision mesh - so you can walk/shoot/etc right through them.
