robtot
Hey folks, hoping someone can solve this one for me. I rebuilt my merge patch, masterupdated, and toggle archive invalidation, but for some reason Fallout seems to losing its marbles with any number of assets at the moment. When I load my game, everything is cool, in this case standing in the entrance walkway of the Jefferson Memorial. My berreta is in hand, my pipboy PDA is working just fine, and everything is exactly as it should be. But when I head out the door back into the wasteland, I open up my PDA, only to find the mesh has gone missing. Lower the arm, and now my berreta has gone too. Finally I go to rage out against Sydney, shooting her repeatedly in the face as one does, only to find blood textures have been lost and she now squirts out big red squares. Sooo, anyone know why Fallout is losing assets like this? :) Edit: And heck, lets go for a twofer here. Can someone confirm for me that you are meant to running masterupdate after turning on your merge patch in FOMM? I keep meaning to find this one out :POh dang, just realized I posted this in F3 Tech support, not Mod Support
Nihilisaurus
How many mods are you running? If you run a large number the game freaks out and they get serious issues. Try disabling/merging some mods and see if that fixes anything.

(I'm assuming the hard limit is still 255 like oblivion) I might give that a crack when I get a chance, because the issue does seem to lessen the more mods I take out, and there does seem to be nothing systematic as to what has issues.
