I was curious as to the type of character every one most often plays through the game? As for me I usually play through it as a Human Noble Warrior Dual wielding weapons eventually long swords. After all it's just looks so cool when you stick the enemy with one and cut off his head with the other one and see the blood gushing out his neck. I know, I know I'm an evil S.O.B aren't I? <LOL>

 

Also what do you feel is the best armor and long swords out there? Whether it be in game or one of the mods folks have made?

 

I just downloaded the Grey Warden Runic armor and weapons and plan on installing that mod and playing through the game with it. Looks like a pretty nice set of armor and the stats aren't bad either. Is there anything that you think is better for a warior class?

I usually solo as a city elf rogue with some spell abilities or as an elf arcane warrior with stealth - both dual wield. Agree 100% with you on decapitation although I have always wondered what happens to the head :whistling:

 

IMO best heavy/massive armor is the Juggernaut Plate upped to Tier 9 (found in Brecillian Forest and the ruined temple there or can be eventually bought in a rather tedious process from the merchants in Innodils Pocket Plane Party Camp.) Unless you go with one of the game breaking hyper-armors it is as good as it gets although I usually use the winter forge to step it back to heavy scale and zap it with the dye kit. Best light armor is a toss up between Shadow Wardens Armor and Armor of the Black Fox. Shadow has better stats but the fox can be dyed so it has more variety and looks a little better.

 

As for weapons, you can't go wrong with Jojjo Weapons.

Now I seen jjo's weapons and I just can't see something like light sabers in the game. If I wanted something like that there I would have played a star wars game.<G> Now how dd you up the Juggernaut Plate or any armor for that matter up? Is there a way to do it easily in innodils Pocket Plane? I've been thinking of d/l'ing that one there. Wasn't sure about it though.

I bought the armor in the pocket plane, mega-multiple randomizing of the merchants will allow you to buy as many sets as you have the patience to go for. I downgraded it from massive to heavy using The Winter Forge as IMO massive just doesn't look good on elves.

hi i new in this but not en dragon age i have played in all ways posible ja ! so i know many things of the game . for me the best is noble warrior but if yuo are a thief not a warrior becouse you can use and dominate two weapons and unlock all the things and you don´t have to take a another one who can for example i take alistar wayne and morrigan so it is imposible to defeat me ja

Hi Elg Welcome to the forums. Will have to admit thats why I use a Noble fighter is due to the fact that I dual wield long swords as soon as I am able to. Thought about running a human Noble thief through the game one time just to check it out and see how things go.

Well I did download and have it installed and will have to admit that it's great. Curious on a couple of things though. How'd you get it to work in Awakeings and how do you upp armor to a higher tier? I've read about this being able to be done but have yet to figure out how to do this.
