Arnkell
Hi, relatively new poster here. Going to ask a slightly greedy, completionist question. I'm at the end of the "Nature of the Beast" quest, I forgot to ask Zathrian for a reward before taking the quest, so now I won't get the "Griffon's Beak" axe upon completion. Is there any way in the DA Toolset that I can edit my savegame so that it appears that I did ask for the reward? Isn't the response system kind of like a logic exercise, merely numbers and values, like "PlotPoint03x4=Response2"? Playing the entire Brecilian Campaign again from the start isn't very appealing, and I was hoping for the Set Bonus of the Griffon.I like playing Completionist-style, doing all quests possible and maximising the outcome, but I don't want to ruin the immersion too much by studying every single quest in walkthroughs beforehand, just to prepare for all outcomes, so then stuff like this happens... Thankful for response /Arnkell
DarkeWolf
I think a simpler method would be to install and use hdhd's additem script- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1131it has all the vanilla items listed in it, so you just need to find the filename for the axe then type in the additem script with that item name and how many you want, in the console. if you need to activate the console in your game, he's got links to the instructions on how to do that, in the description of the mod ;) (I'm adding that advice because I have NO clue on what the numbers for the plot flags ARE, in the savegames.) I mean, I know how they are used, and where they are listed, but dont have any idea which plot = which number.Hope this helps! :) And welcome to the nexus! Arnkell
Thanks for the input. That's a nifty feature. I tried it, was kind of weird. It worked, but the code for the Griffon's Axe actually summoned Bregan's Bow, don't know how that happened. Maybe if I type in the code for Bregan, that'll work with the axe. :-)
DarkeWolf
hmmm. interesting. it could have been a typo, perhaps.I wish that I could be more help here, but I cant seem to find that axe in the toolset to get the proper name for it. No matter what I use for my search, its not coming up :(
