Well. There you go. Fallout 3 was not tested on Windows 7. Some parts of it are not compatible with Fallout. Being you have a x64 bit system, you cannot change the compatability of Windows 7 with Fallout. I have also heard that quad core systems increase the rate of crashing.

I am using Windows 7 Ultra x64 also. I have an i5 quad core. So... I have had the problems before also. There is'nt a cure out there that I know of.

but I modified a file to force it operates with only 2 cores

in this folder:My Documents\My Games\Fallout3

in "fallout3.ini" I found this string:bUseThreadedAI=0 and I changed it to bUseThreadedAI=1 then added a new string:iNumHWThreads=2 thus the quad core issue is solved

so the game runs perfectly but after I added some mods, the game crashes alot so I guess the problem shoud be the mods but I see other people use the mods too and they don't have any problem

It's not just the core issues. It's Windows 7. I can run multiple mod's, no mods, 500 mods, and my game crashes. For me, theres no escape.

I don't see anything wrong with your load order, so I believe it's windows 7 man.

But I also see many guys using win7 and they make it through the whole game...
