netherjade Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 I played with the Grenadier class mod it was great fun the only thing I didnt' care for was a lot of the mobs were immune to the acid bombs. I tried the the elemental grenades in awakening and that was fun but the mats are so sparse because you need blood lotus to craft them. The modder does not have the grenade mod compatible in awakenings and seems that he's no longer playing. I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind making an updated mod with the elemental grenades from awakening with longer throw range instead of the default short ranges. I would love to play them in both origins and awakenings. Can you please make the unlimited as well? I would try this myself but I have no clue how to mod. DarkeWolf Posted August 11, 2010 Share Posted August 11, 2010 to make the mod compatible, we've had a recent discussion about that, in this thread- http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/225245-modifying-origins-custom-dlc-to-work-in-awakening/we've got a couple of methods listed there, on what file you would need to edit, and the edit(s) necessary to make, in order to make them work in awakening. ;) The longer throw ranges, I'm afraid that I dont know what is involved with that. :( So I'm afraid that I dont know of anything to tell you there :(The unlimited ammo... thats been an issue in the past. I know that there was a bow mod that was released (CANNOT Remember the name of it :( ) that would restock its quiver (or was supposed to. did sometimes, didnt other times). That particular aspect has been a pretty hard mountain for the community to overcome. And I know that it was script driven, and patch 1.04 and it's change of how scripts are handled, has set the community backwards a few steps.
