Armiena is an exile from Middle-Earth, who served as a ranger during the war against Mordor. She was exiled from Imladris (Rivendell) during her training as a warrior.

Armiena is best described as a rebel. Unlike most Elf soldiers, she carried many weapons: staff, bow, sword, hand axe, throwing knives, stars, dagger, etc. She was actually exiled for disobeying her superiors during the Battle of the Five Armies (in The Hobbit) by fighting alongside with Thorin Oakenshield against a horde of goblins. She decided to take up residence as a spear-maiden in the kingdom of Rohan.

She wandered all over Middle-Earth, and helped in the war by ambushing countless orc patrols, and by stealing and destroying their equipment, and even served in the Battle of Helm's Deep. She stayed even as Frodo destroyed Sauron, and wandered Middle-Earth, seeking fights against the Wild Men, and when she returned to Imladris, she found that all of the elves had left to the west.

Sh built a slightly less than reliable boat to try to follow them, and was caught during a storm. She was wrecked on the rocks near Vvardenfel, to find a surprising greeting: a Berne vampire sucking on her neck. She did kill it, but became infected with vampirism, and wandered Vvardenfel for years searching for a cure. Fortunately, she did succeed, only after some rather.... unorthodox deals with the temple, and the Great Houses.

Frustrated, she decided to finally accept her new surroundings, and simply became another wanderer in Tamriel, never to see her fellow Elves again.
