kj28lfc
I am just wondering if all the major factions some how get into an alliance and decided they were going to rebuild the world, getting rid of the raiders, mutants and stuff, could they rebuild the world? Starting with DC for example.
falloutperson416
Of course, it could recover. If the Brotherhood and Enclave teamed up, they would be the most powerful force to exist. Then, the people of Megaton and Rivet City could start training soldiers and what not, and start to bring down the radiers and super mutants. Vault 87 would have to be destroyed of course. It would take many many years of course, to acomplish anything.
Odile
I agree with the person above. It would be a long and painful process, but humankind can persevere. Nature would slowly, but surely begin to heal itself. I don't think things could possibly ever be the same, but I don't think the world would remain bleak and harsh forever. Life survived the extinction of the dinosaurs, the cambrian crisis (the other time life almost wiped itself out, by way of discovering photosynthesis... And being vulnerable to oxygen poisoning) annd nmerous ice ages. A little nuclear fallout is a minor event in anyone's books. It lasts what, 1000 years? That's little more than a blink in evolutionary time scales. You could kill everything and leave just one bacterium. Given reasonable condtions and a few billion years life would look like it had never left... Hell depending on your view of the creation of life if you killed EVERYTHING and took apart all the really complex bits you'd basically just have reset life's clock to 0 and could watch as self-replicating proteins were formed and slowly over a billion or two years turned into simple organisms... You can't kill life without drastically chaging the conditions, because if you don't given enough time it'll just start over.
BlackSampleAdmin
here's how the world can be rebuild : first of all brother hood shouldn't team up with the enclave as they are one of the reasons that china bombed the US and engulfing the world with radiation so what can be possible if anyone one knows how to handle a gun join with the BoS. clean the water then travel the world and look for recruit what can be good is to convince the Brother hood outcast to join as they have tech and the BoS have more brawn. and to travel to California to the original brother hood base and group up every one there. :turned: OR force the enclave to join or threaten to kill there sisters if they dont join  but still i like falloutperson416 idea of course it would need a lot of threatening :whistling:
falloutperson416
How would you expect them to travel the world? After (SPOILERS!!!!!) Broken Steel the Brotherhood have 1 captured Vertibird. They can only seat about eight people I beleive. So, world travel, most likely not. (END SPOILERS!!!) - Falloutperson416
Kalizar
Of course; they're humans, aren't they? Civilization had to build itself in the first place, the wasteland seems to be pretty alive; mirelurks, super mutants, humans, dogs, bloatflies, and brahmin cattle all could be used for civilization to rebuild, let's not forget Oasis, either, chances are the forest would spread by way of travelers with an idea, and let's not forget the living plants in New Vegas, either, or the G.E.C.K. xXHENFANGXx
They prob could rebuild but that depends if you infected project purity with the F.E.V virus (Broken Steel) because then only the Enclave would be left. So to conclude yes.
