  1. 1. Does the lockpicking interface need to be diversified and made more fun?

Alright, so I am a beginning modder, and while playing oblivion today, I thought to myself: "Wow, the lock system on ancient treasure chests in ayleid ruins is exactly the same as contemporary store locks!" This sparked an idea. I thought that it might be a cool mod to revolutionize the security interface. For example, locks on ayleid chests could be like a game of "Mastermind", with progressive difficulty like with lock difficulty. Or, new traps could be added like a creature spawn or damage upon breaking a pick, or just activating the interface. I have more ideas, but since I'm a fairly new modder, I don't know what tools I would need to get started, nor do I know if the TES Nexus community would appreciate such a contribution. Feedback, comments, and help would be fantastic!
