Lexx666
Objects putted in custom made dungeons (mostly animated objects-FXTwinkleLights, FXCloudThin, FXCloudThick and few others) wont start looping, emmiting and moving when entering a custom made dungeon. It seems that i cant fix this. Few other people have the same problem. Every object except nonanimated meshes will work. Tried everything that some could possibly imagine, first of all making my own FXTwinkleLights with a different particle texture(will work in cs under Havok sim without problems, but still wont work ingame-when saving the nif it only errors about some link, pointing to a wrong block data, but thats also within almost every default nif mesh that has a particle emmiter attached), ive tried reloading the cell ingame many times(about 10 and more)-result? WONT WORK!! Tried to test the cell with cs an then ingame: WONT WORK!!! Tried to save the twinkle lights and clouds under new custom editor id and used them inside dungeon: WONT WORK!!! Tried to open it with cs and checked the box"visible when distant"-WONT WORK and the other one "persistent reference"-WONT WORK. Tried the dungeon on my friends pc wich is 10 times more powerful than mine(assuming its a graphical problem) -WONT WORK EITHER!!! Tried to make a custom dungeon on my friends pc with these object - WONT WORK!!! Tried to change different lightning in the cell - WONT WORK!!! PS - These object are all vanilla oblivion meshes and are widely used in many forts, ayleid ruins and other. So where could be the problem. Under some strange circumstances(AND THESE ARE REALLY RARE)they appear in custom made dungeons. And when they do, than its really rare. The object dont require triggers, are not collision sensitive, no lightning sesitive, size value sensitive, etc. Im only sad because of the fact that i use them much in my dungeons that im creating because of the great atmosphere they spawn. Well, maybe there is someone out there who could have a clue about this. Try it youreself. Make a custom dungeon and put some of these objects inside. Maybe its only me then... Megatarius
I don't know about these objects, but I would venture to guess you're missing a step. If they're widely used like you want them to be in many forts and ruins, then they do work. Perhaps they're governed by a script? Sorry I can't help any more. I know how lame this can be. :wallbash:
Lexx666
Could they have possibly a script that is not noted? Because they havent any scripts at all. Its just a editor marked box thats emits particles, just like the FXCloud thin or thick. In nifskope stand that they looping in idle. Thats default settings.???? :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
