DarkeWolf
@All: Nope, nothing happened. Unless you count my game taking slightly longer to load^^;Would you mind making a copy and paste of your dragonage.ini file and posting it? I'm thinking that if we can see whats going on there, and able to compare it our own (working) ones, that we might have a better chance of tracking down the glitch ;)
RustyBlade
Well... IMO the worst thing a single player game can do is automatically do anything online, even auto-update. I prefer to do it manually if and when I choose to and not when the program wants to. I have several reasons for this that are irrelevant to the discussion but the most important is I sometimes only have a little time to do something and I don't want it wasted with an update. So because of that, I went into the ini and cut it off from the internet. My online options read as follows:[OnlineOptions]EnableOnlineTelemetry=0AutoScreenshots=0AutoScreenshotsNotification=0AutoUploadScreenshot=0AutoUploadProfile=0NucleusOnlineLoginAuthenticationToken=(UNASSIGNED)EnableOnlineAutoLogin=0EnableOneTimeOnlineAutoLogin=0EnableOnlineFeatures=0EnableOnlineStats=0AutoDownloadOffers=0InstallPromptInGame=0AutoDownloadOldEntitlements=0AutoUploadAchievements=0AutoUploadStats=0ScreenshotFilterOption=0ShownServerClosed=0 Not sure if there is anything there that can cause screenshots not to post to the HD though but it does prevent anything other than DLC's to/from the net. DarkeWolf
hrm. well, wasnt able to find the thread, cause my search is limited to the first 200 results. I did however find a thread over on social.bioware that might help. Will post that here in a second. [OnlineOptions]NucleusOnlineLoginAuthenticationToken=(UNASSIGNED)EnableOnlineAutoLogin=1EnableOneTimeOnlineAutoLogin=0EnableOnlineFeatures=1EnableOnlineTelemetry=1EnableOnlineStats=1AutoDownloadOffers=1InstallPromptInGame=1AutoDownloadOldEntitlements=0AutoScreenshots=1AutoUploadScreenshot=1AutoUploadAchievements=0AutoUploadProfile=1AutoUploadStats=0AutoScreenshotsNotification=1ScreenshotFilterOption=0 theres mine. At first I was thinking that having the one that I highlighted might be the issue, but I see that Rusty has his set for negative, and his works. Ok, here's a thread I found on social- http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/122923/1things that they recommended- *reset game screen resolution to monitor native (meaning the same resolution that you've got your monitor set to) they're recommending 1440 x 900 as the highest to use.*doing an alt+tab to the desktop when the issue starts*editing the keybindings.ini file (located in documents/bioware/dragonage/settings folder) for both of the printscreen keybindings to match (or whichever key you have mapped for screenshots)**double check to make sure that key isnt mapped to ANOTHER function as well, that will conflict!*editing the dragonage.ini file for this-DisableAspectRatioCorrection=0 and set it to equal 1, orDisableAspectRatioCorrection=1 AND... I also just remembered that if there is any NONSTANDARD characters in your file structure location that it can botch it. So for instance if C:/"user"/"username"/documents/bioware/dragon age/screenshots has any nonstandard characters in it, there's a problem. For example, the correct version of Dante' (with the slash over the "e") would screw it up. Do NOT remember the fix for it however, and as I said, can't find the thread that it was in  EDIT- I should also mention that sometimes my screenshots would go screwy if I'd been playing long enough that the game had done a significant drain on system RAM or VRAM. Shutting down and restarting the game usually corrected it there, for me.Hopefully this will help you out
aprilius20
@DaRkeWolf: Yup, read that link before I posted this thread. I tried changing my game resolution, but all I could bump it up to was 1024x768 or something like that- nothing higher. My windows resolution is 1280 by 800, and I really didn't feel like doing a reverse on that tip by downgrading my screen resolution, lol. Thanks for the help, though (and to everyone else too)- really appreciate it. That said, I've decided to stick with the program I mentioned :blushing:
