Maximum Explosion Distance Modifying

Hello

 

Ive been messing around with the GECK a little and modified the experimental MIRV to shoot further, however the explosions will not occur at distance.

 

I have altered maximum range on both the weapon, and Special effects - Projectile. But the explosion does not show up on screen and neither does it kill any "actor" at distance further than approx 100 meters.

 

I have tweaked manually the config file for actor and every LOD distance to ridiculous values, this doesnt have any effect.

 

Is there anyway to alter the weapons to actually go past this threshold im experiencing?

The Fatman Nuke seems to have exactly the same distance, until the projectile simply vanishes.

 

Is the distance hard coded into the game, i am asking in this forum since to my knowledge it is the biggest FO3 modding area.

 

If anyone has any idea i'd be happy to hear

Same here. I seem to remember seeing a file that allows easy setting beyond default levels of some ini files. Can't remember sh.. though. So

 

I would like to know the answer to this also, would like to see explosions and actors out to 800 yds.
