Feature Request - Add conflicing files tab to mod pages

Here is a suggestion for a new feature of the website. Would it be possible to automatically generate and update a tab on each mod's page that lists the files it contains that conflict with other mods and what those mods are? I realize it's probably a gargantuan task given the number of mods, but maybe a database of the files for each mod could be created if it doesn't exist already. A query could then be run and a report could be generated at mod creation time to generate the page for the tab. The pages for all of the mods could be automatically updated on a regular basis. Maybe this same information could be displayed in Nexus Mod Manager. It would be very useful to see this as both a mod user and mod author. Thanks for considering.

As I understand your suggestion, the topic is mis-titled.

 

You are not asking for a "Conflicting Files" tab (which would be completely impossible).

You are asking for a "Mod Contents File Listing" tab.

 

NOTE: Anything beyond that would be "computationally infeasible", as they say. For example, every mod containing a file named "Readme" would get flagged as conflicting with every other one containing a Readme!
