neomonkeus
Python in portable package does not leave any trace in your computer(if the package is properly made), and it is not affected by other version you installed. Regardless of what version of python you installed, portable blender will work with package-contained ones. It doesn't have the latest official recommended dependencies. For latest recommended versions see - niftools.sf.net/wiki/Blender
AshRabbit
To LFact: Sorry what I meant to say was that version 2.6.0 of Python wasn't having any issues with Blender 2.49b on one of my previous posts. Oppsie,I forgot to actually tell you what I linked there! :D It's the 2.5.9 version of nif scripts. Give it a try if you haven't already. It says I need a more recent version of PyFFI in order to run the Blender NIF scripts. So what version do I need that will work with Blender 2.49b? AshRabbit
I checked the link you mentioned neomonkeus and I assume that the version I should give a shot is the 2.1.11 version? Sorry if that sounded like a dumb question to you I just want to be sure. Edit: I just noticed that I misspelled you're username by mistake. AshRabbit
Ok just want to make sure thanks for answering me. Update: I just installed the Nif scripts and and 2.1.11 version of PyFFl and it still doesn't give me the option of importing .nif files. Is there something on this link that I'm not doing right in terms of installing: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12248/?
